The current PTU release format is as follows:

    • Evocati (800 invites): Our smallest group of testers who help us get our releases ready for a proper public viewing more quickly! Picked from Issue Council posters with multiple submissions or contributions and from our most active PTU testers.
    • Wave One (6,000 invites): Approximately 1,000 accounts from participating on Issue Council with one New Report and one Contribution, plus 5,000 accounts who have played more than five PTU builds in the last three months.
    • Wave Two (12,000 additional invites, 18,000 total): 12,000 accounts who have played three to five PTU builds in the last three months.
    • Wave Three (16,000 additional invites, 34,000 total): 16,000 accounts who have played two PTU builds.
    • Wave Four (80,000 additional invites, 114,000 total): 80,000 accounts who have played one PTU build in the last three months.
    • Wave Five: Open to all.

da ich bisher nix getestet habe sollte die letzte welle am start sein

Support just got back to me this morning, stating that they understand the live version of the game has been rendered unplayable (invisible players, missing ships, bugged hangars and broken AC). Furthermore, they told me that the development team is fully focused on fixing this issue through to push of patch 2.6 which, according to this email, is "to be released live this week."
Just letting those of you with the current 2.5 bug know that it may be a few days before you can play the alpha. The best thing you can do is contribute to the issue council on the RSI website and post in the forums with your symptoms to give the dev team a good idea of what is needing fixing.
I will report back when the issue is fixed or the patch drops; see you in the verse!

    Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to report the 2.5.0 issues to us. We understand that this issue may render the game unplayable right now, and these tend to crop up from time to time during the Alpha phase of development.

Good news: Our entire company is completely focused on resolving this issue through our 2.6.0 update which will be coming this week. This may mean you need to wait a little bit to play the Star Citizen Alpha, but we'll get this sorted by the end of the week.

So yeah, anyone who has the bug has to wait until they finally get around to releasing 2.6

And most importantly. thats "Good news"!

Some of the additional policies like upgrade or cargo insurance will be rated based on risk levels. Risk level 1 being the safest systems and risk level 5 being the most dangerous system that is insurable for cargo or upgrades. Any risk level over 5 is un-insurable. A risk 3 policy for cargo will cover you for all cargo losses in a risk 3 system or below. The higher the risk level of the policy the more it will cost.  As with the base insurance this will not be crippling financially but instead be a reasonable running cost that relates to the risk / reward profile of the systems flown.

As Chris has said before, particularly on the original FAQ, hull insurance does work in any situation, even dangerous areas. As also stated, this is the replacement value of the original hull and original parts (not overclocked parts) in the condition that they were last docked.
